SD card common problems and solutions
Sep 26, 2022|
(1) SD card chip is not clean
Because some users are not very comprehensive in the protection of the chip, there is often dust or oil on it, which leads to abnormal card reading. Judgment method: Observe whether the metal area on the card is dim or has spots.
Treatment method: Use a cotton cloth to add some alcohol or water to lightly dab it, and then reinsert it after the water is dry.
(2) The battery voltage is unstable
Since high-quality card reading requires very strict power supply, sometimes the battery purchased on the market is used instead of the original battery, which may easily lead to poor card reading. Judgment method: In the case of using non-primary power, the standby condition is not ideal, and the cause of the battery should be suspected.
Treatment method: Change the original power and try again.
(3) The card slot is squeezed
For some ultra-thin machines, the card slot is very cleverly designed. If you use some unofficial batteries on the market, if the thickness exceeds a certain requirement, the card slot will be squeezed, resulting in poor card reading.
Judgment method: change the original power to see.
Treatment method: use the original electricity. And use something to hold the card slot up and down.
(4) The metal wire inside the card slot is rusted or excessively bent
Since some card-reading mobile phones support hot swapping, frequent card insertion and insertion will cause excessive bending or rusting of the wires in the card slot for reading card data. Judgment method: face the card slot to the sun, and observe whether the metal wire contacts are at the same height. If they are not aligned, this may be the problem.
Treatment method: You can try to pick the wire down a little with a needle.
(5) SD infected with virus
For some smart phones, SD is infected with viruses on the computer, which will also cause the card to not be read normally. Judgment method: Read the SD with a computer and scan it.
Processing method: Format the card on a computer or other low-end storage (such as a camera, etc.), such as formatting on a computer, it should be in FAT format instead of FAT32 format.
(6) SD card abnormal format
Since the format of the mobile phone and the computer are different, just redefine the file format with the computer according to the instructions for use and then format it. If there is a card reader, try it on the computer, check the SD card, and be sure to check whether the format of the card is FAT, because FAT32E680 cannot be recognized.
(7) SD card is broken
This is easy to judge, insert the card into the computer with a card reader, and if it can be read, it means the card is good.
(8) There is a problem with the card reading of the mobile phone.
The phone is faulty and can only be sent for repair.
